Join us at the Atlantic Summer Institute on Healthy and Safe Communities (ASI 2025) in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island this August for the Youth Leadership for Well-Being Societies Program.
What is the YL4WS Program?
The Youth Leadership for Well-Being Societies Program brings together young leaders from across Atlantic Canada to build skills, share experiences, and help shape the future of mental health promotion and community well-being.
Theme: Building Resilient Communities for Well-Being Across Generations
Dates: August 17-20, 2025
Location: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
Deadline to Apply: Extended to June 5, 2025

What to Expect

Leadership and advocacy training
Dialogue with policymakers, educators, researchers, and health professionals
Roundtable discussions and participation in the full ASI Policy Forum
Safe spaces and emotional support throughout the event
Opportunities to collaborate with youth and adults committed to mental health and resilience
Who Should Apply?

We are looking for youth aged 18 to 25 who:
Are affiliated with a community organization
Have a passion for youth mental health and well-being
Are eager to learn, share, and lead
Exceptions to the age limit may be made for youth who meet all other criteria.
All travel, accommodations, and meals are covered for selected youth participants.
