We are excited to have our coordinator, Cristina Morales, back again this year! Cristina is an Early Childhood Educator with over ten years of experience working at Centre de la Petite Enfance l’Île Enchantée in Charlottetown. She has worked with a diverse group of ages such as 0-22 months, 2-4 years old pre-kindergarten and the after-school program. With the help of her background in Biology and her passionate affinity for the environment, Cristina implies elements of nature into her activities in order to sensibilize children on the importance of the world that surrounds them. As a supervisor, Cristina has been putting her leadership skills to use by offering internships to students from Early Childhood Education from Holland College and Collège de l’Île. Overall, Cristina is a firm believer in valuing each child for who they are and that it is a fundamental right for them to grow in an environment that fosters their creativity and imagination.
