What is the ASI subsidy program?

The Atlantic Summer Institute on Healthy and Safe Communities believes in inclusion and reducing barriers to participation; therefore, we seek funds to support a subsidy fund.

A limited number of subsidies are available to participants and presenters from Atlantic Canada attending the full program.

What are the steps to apply for a subsidy and register for the 2017 Institute?

Step 1 – Complete the subsidy request form and attach a letter demonstrating your need for assistance by June 15, 2017. Please mail or fax to the address on the request form, or email the form to info@asi-iea.ca.

Step 2 – A response regarding the status of your application will be sent to you by June 30, 2017.

Step 3 – If a subsidy is approved, you then fill in the registration form and indicate “Subsidy Approved” under Method of Payment. If you do not receive a subsidy for your registration, you are still eligible to register at the early bird rate.
