On April 29th, 2013, a group of young women leaders and women further along in their professional lives gathered at Holland College for a day-long event on leadership and mentorship, presented by the Atlantic Summer Institute and Girls Action Foundation.

Health Equity Workshop Report on Storify!

On April 9, 2013, the National Collaborating Centre for Determinants of Health teamed up with ASI and the New Brunswick and PEI Branch of the Canadian Public Health Association to offer people in PEI an opportunity to explore health equity ideas and opportunities. The interactive workshop brought together 65 people from the broad public health sector: practitioners, community health leaders, policy developers and researchers, as well as people involved in education, safety, and social and economic development.
